SWIM (system-wide information management)
Global information exchange in line with the highest security standards is an essential basis for air traffic management. Provision of the right information in the right place at the right time is the top priority. SWIM enables seamless information access and interchange between all providers and users of ATM information and services.
The aim is the provision as well as the consumption of CP1 (Common Project 1) compliant data for digital NOTAMs, aerodrome mapping and aeronautical information features as mandated by EU Implementing Regulation 2021/116 by the end of 2025.
Austro Control Digital Services supports Austro Control with the conceptualization, implementation and launch of the SWIM core which is the basis for the consumption and provision of SWIM services. SWIM enhances the modernization and digitalization of interconnected global air traffic management systems.
